I See You Like This— Designing a Frame for Wild Creativity

The visual identity for I See You Like This reflects the raw energy, humour, and emotional depth of the project. It is designed to support, not overshadow, the portraits made by children. The focus stays on their creative voices.

The stacked typographic lockup mirrors the experience of decorating a parent's face. Each word sits slightly off balance, like layers of stickers or paint added with spontaneity. The result feels bold and handmade, structured enough to be legible but loose enough to stay playful.

A cut-out Morai pattern adults adds texture and movement as its keyart. Inspired by childhood collage making, it references cutting, layering, and assembling visual scraps. The pattern avoids any single cultural reference, allowing for wide resonance and a feeling of openness and familiarity.

The colour palette of red and lavender captures both sides of the experience. Red brings energy and theatricality, while lavender introduces softness and space for reflection. Together they reflect the emotional mix of humour, vulnerability, and surprise.

This identity system adapts easily across exhibition graphics, digital assets, and promotional materials. It holds the visual tone without dominating the content. The brand invites participation, celebrates imperfection, and leaves space for whatever unfolds.
